The Meadow depicts an instant in the life of a herd of livestock while grazing. The one in the front has no visible eyes, I am interested in the limits, the boundaries between being and not without losing shape.
Animals are important, but so is the worn out textured background. The conversation with paint has been following two different directions: dripping stains for creating wool and a spread out of glazes for creating the open space.
